Read MoreI'm very sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. When we were growing up on Hudson Avenue in Jonesboro he was one of my best friends. It was a sad day in my young life when the Caldwells moved away. All of us boys learned what hard work was when we raised watermelons and other crops on his grand dad's farm in Saline one summer. I have never forgotten it. You have my condolences for your loss.

As a fellow attorney with Frank Carroll I am also saddened to hear of Jim's death. He was a great attorney who represented his clients well while at the same time a true professional in his dealings with the opposition. The law community along with myself will miss him.
