Not sure what to say?

Jimmy,
You left on your own. You broke trail without us. Its like you moved someplace where we can't call you or even get a visa to visit. I will give you a report just the same. Grand Rapids is a lot smaller with out you. We miss you. But you would be proud of the youth of our old home town. Extraordinarily positive things are happening in the streets all over the world. People are standing up for what they need and believe in which essentially was our right of passage as young men....

You're still missed, Jimmy. Always in my heart and thoughts. Never forgotten.

Jimmy in his element

Jim,Dan, Ray, and myself toasting before we left for Phoenix

It's been almost 2 years now and there's not been a day gone by that I don't think about Jimmy. My God, I miss him so much. It was so untimely. 53 years of friendship. My heart goes out to the Calvarusos. The loss of Theresa, Jimmy, and then Jack in such a short time has to be devastating. I wish I knew how contact you. Since I was in Arkansas at the time and broke, I couldn't be there to give you support. I just want you to know that I really do care about you a lot. It just dawned on me,(I'm...

Dear Jim Calvaruso's friends and family.
I am going to miss Jims corny e-mails so much and it will be a melancholy return to Grand Rapids with Jimmy gone. I see now he was like the grand river, or one of those oak trees near the baseball diamond at garfield park. That is, just allways there for me. Just off kalamazoo. My family and I shouldered a lot of sadness my last few visits, he gave me the right amount of compassion and lots of laughs. No mater how long we were away from each other...

I have known the calvaruso family for many yrs. Mary and I have been friends since jr high. We lived down the street from each other. As the yrs went by, and Mary and I became closer friends, I was lucky enough to get to know her whole family. Through all our younger yrs, through high school, if you knew Jim, you could not help but have a little crush on him. He was so handsome and always fun to be around. As the yrs went by and we all got busy with our lives, we didn't see each other that...

There is a star that seems to shine brighter than all the others, a star that will shine in our hearts, forever! Thank you Jimmy

Dear Calvaruso Family,

Jim was a good friend, especially in our childhood years. Jim was a good pal and made people smile. He is in a better place now but he will be missed by all who knew him.
