Not sure what to say?

Michael and I went to school together -- high school. I want to tell you that even then, anyone who knew him, knew that he was going places. Smart, funny, a good and close friend. Another friend, Mary Mahoney, had been looking for him for some time; imagine our shock when we found out in mid-February that he had died the day before. My heart goes out to you and your family. Michael was one of the finest individuals I've ever met, and now too soon gone.

In case you haven't...

Rest in peace, my friend - shel

Dear Mrs. Campbell,
You and your family have my deepest sympathy.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Judith McCollum-Stallings (U.Va) Richmond,Va.

My husband, Hector, and I were friends with Mike at UVA, and we want to express our deepest sympathy to Mike's family.

My condolences to Mike's family.

To the Campbell Family: Words cannot begin to express the sympathy I feel. Mike was not only a great classmate at UVA, a fantastic leader in the UVA community, and a outstanding frat brother who set the example of what Kappa was all about, but best of all Mike was a wonderful friend. It seems like only a short time ago he was driving a UVA bus while cracking jokes along the way. Mike Dudley, UVA '81

I am very sorry for your loss. I work over at the Shaffer Center with the kids, and Michael came down to visit often. We enjoyed his company and so did the kids.Very intelligent guy.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To Mike's Family,
Just heard of the passing of Mike and my heart goes out to the family. Although Mike resided in Buffalo, he always shared memories and love for Virginia.
