Dear Canavan family,
We were very saddened to hear about the loss of your husband and father. Jeff was always extremely friendly and eager to chat when we would run into him around the neighborhood. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

I always enjoyed running into Jeff on my walks with my dog Millie. Jeff would be on his way to or from the train station. He always had a kind word to say to Millie about what a nice dog she was, and always remembered my mom and how much he enjoyed meeting her years before at a neighborhood barbecue. I was always impressed by that. I'll miss our chance conversations and the regularity of seeing Jeff on his way to work.
You are all in my prayers.

I had only met Jeff once, but I will always remember his kindness, kindred spirit, and great sense of humor. The world has lost one of its bright lights.

Dear Mr. James Jeffery Canavan,
Your warm heart attracted many who stood by your side in life. Together we shared joy, laughter, sorrow and sadness. Again... sadness is shared this time with the loss of you. Our hearts are heavy knowing that one
of brilliant light has been taken...
We pray for your family.
With deep love and respect to the Canavan Family.
