Not sure what to say?

Jimmy was my go-to guy for haircuts for many years in the BP building. He gave my son his first haircut. I think about him often and loved to hear his stories about his younger years. He was an absolute delight to have shared time with.

Every time I get a haircut, the question is asked, "What would Butch have said about this?" Just last week, we discussed what his response to to getting a vaccine would have been. I don't know anyone like him anymore.

I have known Jimmy since 1982. His stories have finally come to an end.
I had visited him in Lyndhurst last fall.
Take care buddy.

Mr Capretta boyfriend as I called him. I will miss you SO MUCH. I enjoyed SO MANY laughs and good times with you at the Greens. R.I.H boyfriend. I love you.My prayers and condolences to the family.

So sorry for your loss. Please accept comfort from the God of all comfort and hope.

So sorry for your loss

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Capretta was on the same floor as my father and I loved talking with him and hearing him sing. He always made me smile and was definitely one of my favorite people there.

So sorry to hear of Butch's passing. Thoughts and prayers to all of the Capretta family.

Our deepest condolences to the entire Capretta family. Butch and my Uncle Joe "Poncho" DeFranco used to walk me to St. Marian's school down Frank Avenue back in the '50's. Butch would sing and my Uncle Poncho would crack us up with his endless array of jokes. I also loved going to Mr. Capretta's grocery store on Frank, and later, on Euclid Avenue when most of our family moved to Woodlawn/Forest Hills Blvd. Butch also used to barber with my cousin Peter. God Bless You Butch. 'Til we meet again.
