Cathy and Family- Very sorry to learn that Coach Carlin passed recently. He was such a presence during those old WMass hockey days - and in his quiet way you always knew he cared about you as a person and a player. It was a pleasure to play for him. Godspeed Coach

Jim and I went to Sacred Heart Grammar school together. He taught me how to ice skate on Van Horn Pond where we spent many happy hours. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. He truly was a remarkable man. My condolences to all of his family. MaryAnn Suse Alexander

My deepest condolences to Polly and The Carlin Family and their extended family. Favorite memory: Jim and Polly singing their wedding song, "Because of You" to each other and how Jim smiled with his bright blue eyes staring at Polly. Such a sweet moment xxx
