I was so disheartened to hear of Jim Carlo's passing. He was not only my first cousin, friend, and brother in Christ, but was an agile athlete, daring risk taker, and best swimmer I ever knew. Jim was always working on creative idea or dream, and while not all of those ideas came to fruition in his life here, the biggest, brightest and most enduring dream certainly has. We love you Jim. Uncle Jim...you were a big part of my life when I was growing up, going camping, delivering milk to our house when you worked at Flynn Dairy, and just being there. I will never forget listening to you talk about skating on the river in Ottumwa or watching you throw Jimmie Lee up in the air and catch him with one hand when he was little on the movies, or when there was a family get-together and you would sell everyone's car.
