Not sure what to say?

So many memories of two "kids" starting out - you a student; me a very inquisitive girl; working at MSU and life all new. Raising our children - active in sports growing up and traveling across country every two years!. You were a fine man, a great Dad and Grandpa. A pleasure to have gone through a part of my life with you. Kay

I will always remember your kind, gentle soul and that you were there for me during my darkest times. Thank you, Uncle Jim. I find peace knowing there was crowd waiting for you with open arms.

Chatting with Jim was always a pleasure whether on the tennis court or the chance meeting at Fred Meyers. He always asked about my cancer, and was encouraging. Sometimes he came out while we were playing at the courts around the corner from his home. Never a complaint or harsh comment. Truly an outstanding guy. Carl

Years of thankless toil and labor, hard-earned ease at last. Rest in peace, Dad. Jeff & Lori

Jim was the first person to welcome me to the tennis group at Tualatin Hills Rec center, almost 20 years ago. He was a very kind man with a wicked forehand. I have fond memories of our doubles matches. So sorry for your loss.

Wishing you strength and comfort, we are thinking of you.

Jim was one of a kind, always friendly with everyone. He is now with his beloved daughter and oldest son. Rest in Peace dear man!

Oh Jim, we miss you already. It was a lucky day when our spouses found each other in search of pinochle partners. We enjoyed many years of company with you and Rene, and always enjoyed your lively spirit. Farewell.

Anybody who has gotten the chance to know him knows that he was a sweet man. He was a great husband, father, grandpa and even a great grandpa(papa). This man has taught me a lot more than I ever knew. I will always remember our late popcorn/ice cream snacks that drove grandma crazy. I will always remember driving around in the old ford and you be surprised that i figured out the radio or when my old school teachers thought you were an ex state trooper with that car. I will remember the beach...
