James Lowell Carper

James Lowell Carper, 86, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Carper; daughter, Marla Ray; grandchild, Evan Carper; parents, Joe and Angie Carper; brother, Joe Carper, Jr.

He is survived by his sons, James (Laura) Carper, Jr., Scott (Gina) Carper; grandchildren, Phillip Carper, Matt (Ashley) Jones, Peyton Carper and Avery Carper; sisters, Louise Gill, Mary Carper and Virginia White; several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. A celebration of life service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.
