Jim Carrigg was a gentlemen and good corporate leader of NYSEG. He led the corporation though challenging times. But most of all I admire him for his love of family, love of God and love for his wife.

I began working at NYSEG 1969 in the Auburn District and met Mr. Carrigg often during my 38 years as an Operating Reports Clerk. He was always a gentleman, kind and courteous and always remembered everyone's first name. I met him several times at conferences and recognition dinners and he always had that beautiful smile ready to share. He was definitely the glue that kept NYSEG together...he was extremely missed when he left...may he rest in peace and know that he left his footprint on the...
