Not sure what to say?

I recently learned of Mgr. Cassidy's death. He was our parish priest during my days at St. Barnabas High School. In extending my condolences, I must include my gratitude for his encouraging me to attend The College of New Rochelle. That experience set me on a life course that led me to become a Clinical Social Worker and helped me find the strength to care for my intellectually and developmentally disabled autistic daughter. I will always be grateful for his guidance. God bless you,...

We were all blessed to have Monsignor Jim Cassidy Marry us and have him and his Family in our lives. God bless you and your Family.

I remember Father Cassidy from St Barnabas. He really had the respect of the grammar school students. He would take the Altar Boys every year to Rye Beach for the day. As a Bishop at another priests funeral recently said," to be remembered as a good priest," is the greatest tribute we can receive. Father Cassidy was a "good priest," May he Rest in Peace.

I was so fortunate to have Monsignor in my life. He was a unique person with unlimited generosity, acceptance and love.

A great man who will be remembered by his family and friends and those whose lives he touched
