Dear Jim (Dad),
It's been a year already but I still think of funny things to tell you - turn to call you and realize that I can't. Now Riley is with you too. I'll miss that little powerhouse ~ I'm sure you're glad to see him...he missed you terribly too. Your monument at Mt. Calvary is truly magical - A huge Celtic Cross in beautiful rock that is a marble in green. And the view overlooking the city - it's a glorious site Jimmy - I miss you - love - your son Ricky

Riley Cassily, Jim's and my 11 year old Cairn Terrier, also passed away to join his beloved Master and best friend, Jim. Riley had a large 2lb. splenic tumor removed from his little 23 lb. body. Anyone who visited Jim & I in the last 10 years knows Riley. He was a strong, funny, brave, valiant friend. Just like his Jim. Think of them together in Heaven, as they always were here.

Thank you for being my ears when we were young and I was not hearing too well, thank you for being my companion as we were growing up in Detroit and at our cottage at Woodland Lake, in Brighton, Michigan, when we were some of the best fishermen around and you learned to water ski barefooted with Mom hauling you around for hours in a borrowed boat. My dearest Jim, Thank you for your love and the years of fun, inspiration, laughter, tears, music and a true heart-home with you wherever we were in this world. Loving you and sharing life with you was a wonderful gift, and caring for you was truly an honor. I know we'll share an even fuller love when I see you next. You taught me many things in my life...but most of all...how to live life to it's fullest and never set your goals low. Thank you for being my rock!
