Not sure what to say?

Good buddies from our days in Tuxedo! So very sad as we were hoping for a reunion this summer! A very special old friend!!!

On behalf of UBVS of VA. Wr srnd our prayers and condolences to the family.

My deepest regrets and RIP my dear "friend"; you were ALWAYS a gentleman to the core. Definitely a southerner):_ I hope to see you on the other side.

You outlasted them all Jimmy. Fair warning: Libby Rose, Andy Jackson, Brad Field, Bruce Clark Field, Lulu Buell, and Tommy Amory among others will be waiting to welcome you back with the Tuxedo gang. You were loved.

Dear Charlen I am so sorry to hear about Jim. He certainly had a life well lived and full of accomplishments to be proud of as well as a family he adored. Please know I am thinking about you all... xooEvelyn

Jimmy Cathcart was a household name in my family. My dad, Weems Baskin, was the track coach at USC during Jimmy's era, and I will never forget that win over Dave Sime. I used that story many times over the years when I was encouraging my students to always reach for what might seem impossible. Jimmy set a great example for all of us in every aspect of his life. My sincere condolences to his family and those who loved him.

Jim was one of the great ones- a truly wonderful, brilliant and kind man. I´m so grateful to have known him. You're in my thoughts, Charlen. I send you hugs from afar, with much love. Lynn

Sending our prayers and support to you and your family during this time.

Please know Larry, Nick and I send our love and prayers to you all at this most difficult time. Love, Lynne, Larry and Nick Blackman
