I met Jim in 1961 while I was attending HVCC .. use to stop at the gas station to get gas .. some time 50 cents worth because that is all I had in my pocket .. Jim would always invite me inside to have a coke and some friendly conversation .. in latter years I had a part time job in a local restaurant up the street from the gas station where Jim and his partners from the fire department would stop after their meetings .. I had my first job with your dad on Vandenberg & Morrison Ave. This sparked my interest in the industry and he taught me so much. We remained friends throughout the years and I and sorry for your loss. He will be missed. John

Sorry for your loss . I would bring cars out to garage in Wynatskill and my father would come with me. He and Jim would be talking while he was working. Good old days.

So sorry for your loss. My childhood was great going up to see Jimmy and getting a coke from the old glass bottle machine and then exploring all the cars in the yard. He made our life special.
