I'll miss Jimmy's forever upbeat personality and his musical loves of the Grateful Dead and reggae. He reviewed many reggae albums for the Globe and was always on top of that scene. A great guy who loved sharing his knowledge and wit. Steve Morse.

Jimmy Cawley was unique. And I do not expect to see the mixture that was him ever again. He was funny, interested in the world around him, a devoted husband, a doting dad and a man of great personal courage. Elisa, Christina and Kevin: Please accept condolences from my wife, Franci and I.
