Not sure what to say?

Leonora, Lucy, and family - our hearts are with you in sympathy.
All of us and my parents are honored to have had him as part of our lives. He will be missed, but most of all he will be remembered.

With love,
Rick, Inga and Kersti

Dear Lucy,

Nothing I say can lessen the sense of loss and pain you are experiencing. Having lost both of my parents; my mother most recently, I can attest to that. The sense of loss is indicative of how much their presence and company meant to us.
I will always remember fondly the earlier times I met your Dad, and the interplay you had with him. There is no doubt you were the apple of his eye.
Know that you and your Mom have my deepest sympathies and most heartfelt...

Thinking of all the Channing family and how much those of us in Tarboro benefitted from your living here.

Lucy,

George and I and our Tarboro family are sending you and your mother lots of love and prayers. Your daddy was a charming gentleman and I am so glad I was able to see him when I was in Tarboro. What a career he had and what a hero he was during WW II. My mother enjoyed your parents so much when they lived in Tarboro.

love,
Cynthia Simmons Boylan

Mr. Channing was my favorite resident. I'll miss seeing him sitting at my desk with those red sneakers that he wore with such panache. I'll miss that wonderful sense of humor that always made my day better. I know where you are Mr. C. and it's a bright and beautiful place.

Mr. Channing was always one of my favorite residents ... always greeted me with a smile and funny comment. He was a wonderful man who was well loved throughout the community. Rest well Mr. Channing.

Lucy,
I would like to express my condolences. I'll miss James, as I know you will. He was always fun to be around and talk with, whether at the bar or just sitting around.
