James H. Chrest

Jim was a long time friend from Roosevelt and North Portland. He will be missed.

I read of Jim's passing and could not help but remember how he offered my then husband, now deceased, Dick Goss a job trying to help him sort out workers comp in the 1979 session. Jim launched Dick's career in workers comp for the following 7 years before he died. And at some point in 1979 the Chrest family had a litter of kittens. We took a darling furry gray one who we named Cloudy and he lived for a wonderful 16 years. Thank you Jim for all of that - thinking of your family and...

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We were good friends from grade school thru high school. Attending many parties and events together in north Portland.

We were very lucky to have you and your wife as our neighbors here in Columbia City, Oregon. With Sincere Sympathy.

Thank you Dad for your unconditional love, self values, and memories. I'm sure gonna miss your daily calls and all the stories, I'll never forget. Your abundance of knowledge could've made you a champion on Jeporady ! But, you were our Champion.
