James E. Christian

Mr. James E. Christian, beloved husband, daddy, and papa, was called by the Heavenly Father from labor to reward on Nov. 13, 2010. He was the loving husband of Anne Jackson Christian. Mr. Christian was born 12-10-30 to the late William and Lucille Christian. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Alease Christian, a brother, Harry Christian Sr., a daughter Emma J. Christian and a grandson, T.C. Charlton.

Mr. Christian was a retired farmer and a member of the Scott Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his loving and devoted wife Anne, he is survived by his daughters, Roberta Blair and Veronica (Edward) West; two grandsons, Jeffrey Blair and Luther West; a granddaughter, Tiffany Blair, and a step-grandson, Jamar Rucker (Melissa). Two brothers-in-law, Woodrow and James (Lealian) Jackson; Four sisters-in-law Louise Franklin, Bertha Cox, Mary Jackson, and Tracy Christian; Five aunts, one uncle, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Scott Zion Baptist Church, Galts Mill Road, Madison Heights. Community Funeral Home directing.

Dear family of James Christian. I was greatly shocked and saddened to hear of Mr. Christian's passing. We all enjoyed his company very much. My condolences to his family and his wonderful wife, Anne. He was a special and a kind man and I am blessed for having known him. Anne if you can I do hope when you are able you will stop by so we can all hug you and offer you our condolences in person.
