Not sure what to say?

April 26, 2020 So sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Clair. I played on the 1967 team that won the City Championship and finished 2nd in the state with Jim as an integral part of that team. Jim was a great right handed pitcher with a great curve ball that was very hard to hit. Jim was an even better person who always spoke highly of all whom he met. I had the good fortune to speak with Jim a couple of times before his passing and we had a great time reminiscing about the 67 team. Jim was so...

I am so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I knew Jim in High School and also went to Lewis and Clark for one year. He was a wonderful, caring, kind person. We grew up in the same neighborhood.

He was supportive, genuine and a true friend.

He is now at peace.

Love to his family and friends.

Randy Foote here. I played baseball with and against Jim at Cleveland High School and Babe Ruth. I was the catcher for Jim's pitching a few times. Jim had the sharpest breaking curveball I ever saw. And he could always throw it for strikes. A great pitcher and a great guy.
