JAMES CLARK

I am grateful to have known Jim Clark and to have been the beneficiary of his judgment, his generosity, and his kindness. He always made me feel like I was the most important thing on his mind, even when he was in the midst of his long and painful negotiations with death. And I am grateful as well for the remarkable Isabelle, who has taught so many of us about courage, grace, and love.
