I'm so happy I got to visit Ed , whom I loved dearly, be there in Becky Jo's home before the funeral and participate in the events that day. As a brother, I'm gratefull for Ed, you Becky Jo and the pleasure it was to be able to assist in a small amount. Love you sister!

I feel so blessed to have known Ed. I was one of two new professors to replace him after he retired. I attended a number of professional meetings with him over the years and he was a guest speaker a number of times in my classes and student organization meetings. I once tried to surprise him and Becky Joe at their home on Lake Keowee. A former professor from Georgia Tech who was a classmate of Ed during his graduate work at NC State was visiting my family.
