Hadn´t heard from Jim in a short while and learned this. My sympathies to friends & family. We only chatted on Facebook, across ocean and continents but he was a terrific bloke. Rest easy mate. - From Australia.

I am absolutely devastated to learn of the death of my friend Jim Clauser. Jim, or "J.D." as he was better known was a wonderful, beautiful and hilarious man. We met out of our mutual love of the comedy team Wheeler and Woolsey. We took this love and recorded a podcast in 2016 discussing the forgotten duo. J.D. was a film professor as well as a radio broadcaster during different stages of his remarkable life. A truly fascinating gentleman. My deepest sympathies as well as my prayers go out...

My deepest condolences to the Clauser family. I remember Jimmy from our days at St. Francis School, and what a good person he was. Always so upbeat and funny, a true friend to my brother, and always so polite and respectful - that's saying a lot! The world will be a dimmer place without Jimmy. Rest in peace, good friend.
