James L. "Jim" Clement

Donna and Eugene, I miss my neighbors across the street. Jim was a real treasure to know , if only for three years. His accomplishments astound me. Always shy about sharing, so I pumped out a bit of information. Will be sorely missed. God bless you and yours. Another DLC

ICARUS tried to capture the sun but was careless and his wings melted! But Jim was careful and famously accomplished what ICARUS could not! Amazing, Jim, for becoming a true ‘father” in modern aviation! And now that you have slipped the bonds of earth you will see the face of God! Bless you my old Chum! Jeff Schiffmayer

My condolences to the family. Jim was one of the true legends of aviation and home building aircraft! Jim was one of the nicest people you could ever meet at an airport. I feel truly honored to have known him! Rest in peace, Jim. You earned it.
