Not sure what to say?

Dear DAvid and Family,

I was fortunate to speak with your Father in August of 2008. He was a tremendous inspiration to me with his tireless hard word, dedication, motivation, and common sense. I currently teach at Eastmoor Academy H.S. (real close to Bexley) and I value your Dad's mentoring and life skills that he taught me. I was honored to be a captain of the team under his coaching. He was fair to all his players and always let the seniors participate in the state...

I remember Mr Click very fondly.. He was a great tennis coach with mischevious sense of humor! We could never pull one over on him. He also was a very patient in drivers ed. He'll be greatly missed

I will always remember MR. Click. From Coach for Tennis to Drivers ED teacher at BHS.
He always got us motivated on the tennis court.

Dear David and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Click was the best tennis coach Bexley Tennis has ever had! I have so many fond memories of him! Tennis Vincit Omnia, (6-0 ,6-0, wins meant.....), Owens ice cream, BEATING CSG! ,Granville hot fudge cakes, the headlight game (bididdle-badaddle) that I taught my children to play too ,and many more

I will remember the Bexley State Champion Tennis Signs that your dad made for each one of us when we won a State Title! Mr. Click...

Mr. Click was also my first boss at the Bexley Pool. He had a profound, positive influence in my life. I remember talks with him, and how he missed not having any brothers or sisters. That resonated with me as I was having my family. (Strange how people's lives can touch others.) I will never forget him.

Sorry for your loss. Jim and I played Football together from Roosevelt thru Springfield High and the Undefeated Team of 1952. I played Center and he Quarterback. I lost track of him while I was in the Marine Corps, and later heard that he also spent time in the Corps I have a lot of good memories of Jim

Jim Click was an institution at Bexley. His devotion and enthusiasm for the tennis program will be long remembered. He touched the lives of so many of his students. He will be greatly missed.

I am very saddended to read of the passing of Mr. Click. He was my gym teacher and he also was the Manager at the Bexley swimming pool. He was rigourous and sometimes demanding at the age we needed it but he was also fair and forgiving. He will be missed. My sympathy to the family.

To the family of James L. Click,

Mr. Click was my very first boss. In addition to being a teacher and coach, he was the general manager of the Community Pool in Bexley, Ohio for 22 years (1964-86). I was a swimming instructor, life guard, and swim team coach (1981-85). Mr. Click was firm, but fair with all of his employees. Mr. Click taught me a lot about life and was very kind to me. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Very sincerely,

Frank J. Reed, Jr.
