I was one of Mr. Coburn's fifth grade students at John Marshall Elementary School in 1959-60. My name was Lindy Barcus at the time and he was the best teacher that I ever had. He inspired me to do my very best and encouraged me to pursue intellectual curiosity and a love of lifelong learning.
