COCKING, James W. "Bones" - Of Flint, age 52, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held at 10AM Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Rev. Jim Reid officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 2-8PM Thursday and 10AM-8PM Friday at the funeral home. James was born in Flint, Michigan on August 27, 1950 and was a resident of Flint most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army Special Forces during the Vietnam Era. James was an operating engineer for 20 years. Surviving are wife, Sharon; children, Jim and wife Michelle of Georgia, Randy, Crissy Cocking, Toby Pulliam, Jr. and Todd Pulliam, all of Flint; many grandchildren; father, Robert of Croswell, Michigan; 3 brothers, John, Mark and Bob; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Cocking on November 27, 1968.
This is for you Randy. My mother and I are sorry about your loss. You did some work for her out on Four Lakes Dr. last year and we both thought you were such a fine young man. God Bless your family at this sad time.

I am sorry to hear of BONE'S death, an offer my condolences. I worked with BONES, quite a few years ago, and knew him even before I worked with him. I am sorry to here of your loss.
