Jim was an exceptional person and a great coach. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. He coached two of my children and touched their lives in so many ways. Jim was a role model on and off the tennis courts. He coached my daughter, Elana, for 5 years, during which he taught her tennis from scratch, improved her skills dramatically, and passed along his passion for tennis to her. Dear Jean my heart goes out to you Jim was a lovely man and a special coach. We spent many years on the court at NHLC and it was always a special time for me. He was always in good humor and quietly instructive. One of the best!!

Jim was such a lovely man, and a wonderful coach. I spent many a happy hour with him on the Lawn Club courts. He improved my game, and my days as well, with his easy going, philosophical approach towards people and life. I thoroughly enjoyed my time him. He was that rare thing - a good man. I am so shocked and sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim was by far my favorite tennis teacher. He immeasurably increased my enjoyment of the game. I truly missed him when he left the Lawn Club. My husband and I send our sincerest condolences to his family.

Jim was a colleague and friend at Branford High School. He had a passion for coaching tennis and was an wonderful person to be around. He enriched so many lives through his involvement in tennis. My condolences to his family. I am sorry for your loss.
