James Andrew "Jim" Colley

Dave Clark and Jim were such close friends through National Recreation and Park Association for many years. That friendship went beyond work which was very special. They both are greatly missed. Love to Jim’s Family.

I want to take this opportunity to see how things are now that Gayle is up there getting things in order. You had your peace and quiet long enough. Now, I guess there will be a new Sheriff in town. I know you and Mike have found each other and you are at peace.
Gayle now can make up for her years lost with him. But down here, You two have a beautiful daughter and granddaughter.
Both who loved you guys so so much. Now you guys will be great grand parents. ...

There a people who come into our lives that have such a profound effect on what makes us who we are today. Jim Colley was that person in my life. He was larger than life and taught me so much about what it means to be a man of integrity, compassion, and inner strength. March 11, 2003 I lost my best friend and mentor. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him or find myself practicing the many life lessons I learned through his guidance and thoughtful advice. I miss him so much.
