James “Buck” Collins, 69, of Wrightsville, AR went to his heavenly home Friday, April 30, 2004. He was a retired Roofer and Welder.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Collins, one son, James Lyle Collins of Wrightsville; two step-sons, Jimmy Gill of Wrightsville and Tony Mathews of Fayetteville; five daughters, Angela Wheetley of Cabot, Tammy McGhee of Sherwood, Alesia Wilhite of Benton, Bridgette Tucker of Benton and Christie McCool of Little Rock; one step-daughter, Tena Hancock of Wrightsville; twenty one grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four brothers, Jimmy Collins of Mayflower, Ernie Collins of Ft. Smith, Ervin Collins of Conway and Robert Collins of Bryant; two sisters, Gene Holland of Little Rock and Shirley Sisco of Ft. Smith. He is also survived by three stepbrothers and one stepsister and stepmother, Mae Collins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Ivy Chapel Cemetery, Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170.

Uncle Buck,I am glad that I got to introduce my kids to you and they got to see you, the one who I will always share my memories with them about. I will never forget you.When I go fishing, hunting or now while I ride down this autobahn (highway) and look out into the german country side. You are what makes up that beautiful view that I look out upon. It is a feeling that I cannot describe, but it’s a warm peaceful feeling. Rest In Peace, I love you
