Not sure what to say?

To the Connor Family:
I was deeply saddened to hear of Jimmy's untimely passing. I was a classmate of his at St. Mary's & DHS & have very fond memories of him running cross country practice past my childhood home. Which some of you may remember was where his fraternal grandmother lived (in our upstairs apartment) for over 10 years. He was always a very kind & generous person. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Carol Maione

To the Conner family,
Although I had only worked for Jim for a short time back in the late 1980's and early 90's while he was at NYNEX, news of his passing so young was really hard for me to come to grips with. He was always so health conscious and full of life! I last saw him at my brother's wake in 1993, which he was so thoughtful to attend. The world has lost a truly good man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and fond memories of him will always be with me.

To the Conner Family,
I just wanted to say that my thoughts and prayers are with you. He was a Great and caring Man .

To the Conner Family,
I had the privilege of working with Jim at NYU Medical Center. He was by far one of the nicest and most hard working Vice Presidents I had ever met. He had that rare quality of holding everyone to a high standard and yet was kind and caring. He always listened to what was being said, and acted in a timely basis, always getting back to you. I just learned of his passing. The first thing I said about him was how special he was. He will truly be missed, but heaven has...

To the Conner Family:

This entry will go so far back you may not remember me. My madian name is Patti O'connell. I'm sure Mr. V. Conner would have remembered me. He grewn up on New Milford Ave with my father Joe O'Connell.
I dated Jimmy when I was a freshman ay D.H.S and he was a senior. He was my first love and I gave him a piece of my heart and never gave it back.
I would come to your home on Pershing St and you all welcomed me with open arms. Outside of Jimmy, I was...

As a team captain Jim pushed you to be the best. My most frequent memory was that he always tried to get me to speak proper english but being from Hudson County it was hard to do. I now know how to speak correctly and give him credit for helping me. May you rest in peace.

True leaders are not defined by their achievements but rather, their ability to influence others to achieve things they themselves do not believe they could achieve. Thank you Jim for giving me the opportunity to show others how great of a leader you were. It was truly an honor!

I guess I only met Jim a couple of times, since he arrived at FDU after I graduated. As a past track team captain my self, I'm sure I'd have been proud to be a teammate of his. He was a good example to us all.
