James D. "Tojo" Connor

CONNOR, JAMES "TOJO" D., 72, of Louisville, returned to our heavenly father Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

He was a graduate of DuPont Manual High School and retired from General Electric where he worked for 44 years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Donna (Garms) Connor and his brother Dr. Robert T. Connor.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Kari Robinson (Jeff); son, J. Michael Connor (Shannon); six grandchildren whom he adored, Tyler and Kayla Connor and Mary, Sam, Emily, and Nick Robinson; a loving brother, William F. Connor (Julie); a host of nieces and nephews; and a good friend/ caregiver, James Clements Jr.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, November 29,2009, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. The service will be Monday, November 30, 2009, 10 a.m. at Highlands Funeral Home with burial at Calvary Cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
