Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Jim´s passing- prayers for comfort and peace to the family. He was a true role model for patient centered care. He taught me no decisions should be made in healthcare without the voice of parents, patients and families involvement. He was a leader, educator and a man of wisdom. I am honored to have met Jim, appreciated his guidance and conversations over the years. Rest In Peace.

I knew Jim through patient safety work beginning in the early 2000s. He was so full of integrity, wisdom, kindness, and humor. A truly remarkable person, and I learned so much by interacting with him and watching him do his work. I feel grateful to have known him and to have learned from him. Sending condolences to his family.

Jim Conway has been an inspiration to me on this patient advocacy journey that I travel reluctantly. He impacted so many lives. I am so grateful for all he taught me. May he rest easy now, safe in the knowledge that his work will continue.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Conway's passing. I learnt greatly from him within his association with the Institute for Patient and Family Centred Care. To this day, I use what he taught about putting families and their needs at the centre of how we provide care at my Canadian pediatric hospital. May his family be at the centre of our thoughts and may his legacy bring you comfort.

My condolences to the Conway Family. Jim Conway was truly a blessing to the Patient Safety movement and an absolute pleasure to work with. Job well done Jim. Rest In Peace.

I am very sorry for your loss. Jim was a tremendous individual who helped so many people during his career and life, including me. I shared the following tribute about Jim with the patient safety community this morning: https://sorryworks.net/blog/2021/7/22/sorry-works-remembers-jim-conway. May Jim be in the Lord's Paradise, and may the Lord's angels comfort your family as you grieve. Peace, - Doug Doug Wojcieszak 618-559-8168 [email protected]

I remember Jim from my time in the sixties as a young priest (Fr. Walsh) at St. Mary´s in Camb. Coming from Dorchester myself I always appreciated the Dot gang. Over the years and since I resigned after ten years I lost touch with most. With great admiration for his personal and professional as I read the obit. My son Steve is the CEO of the Mass Hosp Assn and when I mentioned Jim to him, Steve said: "Jim´s career was that of a champion for patients safety." Quite a tribute for a life well...

Deepest condolences to the Conway family. Jim is related to my wife (née O´Leary). Jim really helped me with the O´Leary family tree with his County Clare research. He will be missed by all that knew him. May he Rest In Peace!
