I am Lillian´s oldest daughter, Brenda.I am so sorry to hear of your Dad´s passing. My Mom talked about her brother a lot. It is so strange that they passed a day apart. Prayers for you and your family, for God´s strength.

Through the past few years, our family has gotten to know Jim through cards/letters that he sent to my grandmother Shirley Bastow in St. John's, NL. They had a very special pen pal/friendship and he made her quite happy after she lost my grandfather. He often called or sent cards to some of our other family members at holidays and he became to be special to us as well as we enjoyed how special he was to my grandmother. My sincere condolences to all of his family.

Our condolences to Jim's family. Had the pleasure of meeting Jim when we visited our Aunt Marilyn many years ago in Summerville. A real gentlemen. May all the wonderful memories of him help to comfort you in the days, months and years to come. May he rest in peace.
