Not sure what to say?

James and Sandy were the Dad and Mom and family unit I never had, they all touched my life in a positive way. I met them in the summer of 1982-1984, I will never forget their love, generosity and faith. I was fortunate enough to go on a few calls with Dr. James Corbett and saw amazing miracles of life. I wish his family all the best ~ God Bless, Live like there is no tomorrow, Love like you've never loved before, Laugh until your sides hurt. Live Love Laugh, Shannon

What a delightful surprise to receive this reminder of Jims anniversary of his going home to God. March 3 is emblazoned on my heart so now we have both spring and fall dates for him. Re-reading his obituary also reminds us of Ann, Cath, and Fr. Gene who have since joined him in experiencing the blessing of resurrection. Given Jims delight in caring for all kinds of animals, let us ask Jim to intercede for the protection of all the animals who are impacted by the effects of global change....

Holding each of you in our prayers in the time of grief. Jim was a wonderful and noble man. We will offer Mass for his eternal rest and your consolation. Eternal rest grant to Jim O Lord! peace and love ponchie, ofm

The memories of Dr. Corbett have remained with me since my growing up. He was more than a friend, he was my mentor. It was always pleasant to have him come to our family ranch and doctor the beef cattle. I learned some really great things that have helped me in high school, mission, college, marriage and family. He always supported and believed in me and spoke highly of my career goals. I mourn the loss of this great man.

A gifted and gift-giving man; one who endeavored to be happy; to share that happiness. In short: a dear friend; and a blessing.

The thoughts and prayers of the Jack McCaffrey family are with the Corbett and Jim McCaffrey families upon the passing of Jim. God bless Jim and God speed.

We have lost another wonderful inspirational person and as a "past 4-H Leader(Rancho Bonita) Doc Corbett was always there for my 4-H'ers animals even at 3:30 AM seeing me, my 4-H'er and their animal injured.
My sincerest prayers for all the family...He shall be surely missed.

Barry, I, Scott, and Lauren, feel sad for your loss. Karen, you gave your dad the best gift ever by being his daughter. It has been a few years since we last saw him at Robins gatherings and he was always such a kind soul as well as sarcastically funny. He allowed for a stranger to feel as if they were a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this aching of hearts. My wish for your family and friends, is that the memories of your dad, fill the void and emptiness...
