I truly enjoyed knowing Don, not well, but seeing him in the fields tending the cattle and keeping his property in such good shape. I will miss his presence.

Thank you so much Don for making and keeping our valley what is today. You will be missed but, never forgotten. My prayers will be with and your family. Thanks Dan Little for taking such good care of him.

We will miss seeing him in the hay fields. He was the hardest working man that I have ever seen. Our prayers go out to the family and wonderful friends that he had. He will be missed.

We will miss our many encounters with Don "out in the field." We own the property adjacent to his and enjoyed many chats as he dealt with his and (our) hay. I even had the dubious honor of shooing his cattle and bull back into the pasture once. He was so pleased a couple of years back when he was flown to Washington with other WWII veterans to be honored. Not many folks can boast at 90 to still be doing what they love.

We will miss looking over the fence seeing Don working with his cattle in his beautiful pasture that meant so much to him. Don guided us when we first bought our property with sage advice while always exhibiting his sense of humor. He made us feel like we "belonged" in this beautiful valley. Our sincerest sympathy to his loving family.

We will surely miss Don. We enjoyed seeing his farm as we drove by it going to our house on Bull Creek Rd. Being as Don is our neighbor, his other pasture is behind our home, we enjoyed conversations with him. He was a fine man and a hard worker. Our prayers go out to the family.
