Not sure what to say?

Jim would always let me in on the good fishing in and around Tappen. Their where times when I didnt have the money to fish and Jim would let me run credit until I got my pay check. JIm you will be missed for sure R.I.P. Jim

Darlene all our prayers go out to you and your family. The world will be a lesser place without Jim in it. He was one of a kind and I am proud to have known him. Heaven will hear a new voice shouting FISH ON! and all the angels will know it's Jim catching another big one. From the Pierce Family

Darlene All our prayers go out to you at ths time of great saddness. Dear Jim all your friends are waiting at that lake full of fish, for you come give them advise , shoot the breeze, and maybe even catch some. You will be greatly missed as we drve by the shop on the way to the lake. P.S. When you see dad ask him if the fish are biting if your not to busy trading tales. ) May the catch be great and the friends welcoming as our prayers go with you. From the Risley family.

To those who will read this,
I give my deepest sympathy. I can't say anything that will make you feel any better, except that he was one of the most unique people I have ever known and one of my favorites. Always smiling and a very intelligent man. Maybe the most knowledgeable fisherman I have ever met. I am sad to see him go. Wherever it is that we go when our time comes, I'm sure he's gone fishing. God Bless!
Sincerely,
Matt Long

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Darlene and Family:
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and this difficult time. Jim & talked about getting to fish together and I guess we will do it elsewhere, another time and another place. May you be consoled in your grief by our Lord.
Peace, Lyle & Michelle Tope

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I barely got to know Jim, but I like others found his "presence" to be one of kind. I will never forget the time I told him to keep the $.26 of change after paying for my allotment from his overgracious minnow nets...Jim handed me the change and said "son, don't be so quick to give your money away, its too hard to earn it" Btw I was 46 at the time! We will miss you Jim.
