Not sure what to say?

Twenty years - I just wanted the family to know that I haven't forgotten Jim; and I still think of him, his brother Bernie, our times together at KPLR-TV in St. Louis and of course "The Game." It really is true, memories made in only a "moment", this one way back in 1965, do last a lifetime. Thank you, Jim & Bernie, a/k/a/ "The Corno Boys from North County", for this memory. Detective Sergeant Danny Slay - Retired St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Supervisor - Bureau of...

Just to let you know that Jim is still missed and still remembered by others too -- As recently as this morning, I drove passed McCluer North High School, the site of "The Game" I mentioned in my condolence message written 10 years ago this month. And just like it´s been every time I do, the memory of that game and everyone involved in it is as vivid to me as if it just happened that day. Someone once told me, "It only takes a moment to make a memory that lasts a lifetime." Thank you,...

Mrs. Corno & family (and brother Bernie too)

I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my most humble sympathy.

I first met Jim in the summer of 1965. I just completed my 2nd year at St. Mary's High School and a friend of mine asked me to cover for him while he went off to join the National Guard. His name - Tim McKernan. He worked in the mail room at KPLR-TV and wanted to ensure he got his job back when he returned. By then, Jim was working in the film room, wearing white...

Mr. Corno was a very kind and generous man that always made time for you regardless of the circumstances. As a friend of Jimmy and playing soccer with him at NIU we were lucky to spend time with him and his wonderful father.

God bless, thoughts and prayers with you.
