Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Corthouts Family.

I have such good memories of your Dad. Not only was he my dentist for a good part of my life (until I moved to New Jersey in 1989), but I had the privilege of seeing him at the Hartford Golf Club where I worked as a waitress during my high school years.

What a wonderful man. How fortunate we all were to have him in our lives.

A candle will burn in the hearts of your 8 children, 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren forever. We love you Dad- Pop Pop

I was a grammar school kid who took the bus from Wethersfield to Hartford and then walked up Asylum Street to Farmington Avenue when I began the first of many visits to Dr. Corthouts. He was always so kind and caring to a scared kid with very bad teeth. I also remember vividly his wonderful sense of humor. One day, when I was about 15 or 16, he said to me,"Marjory, every night I have all my daughters pray that you don't get married and move away!" To this day, that still makes me laugh. ...

I have fond memories as Dr. Corthouts as my dentist back in the 50's. May he Rest in Peace.

To Mary and the family
Your father had a great ride and made many friends along the way.Myself and my sister Holly as well as all the group from Madison send our best wishes to you and your family

I was blessed to have had Aunti Hoke and Uncle Jimmy as my beloved Godparents! They were loving and giving, and were, in essence, nearly identical to my own wonderful parents- Dr. Fleur & Alexis Foohey. What a wonderful life we all had with such joyous, hard-working, and practical jokers in our lives! Right about now, Uncle Jimmy would be getting his Santa suit ready for his annual Christmas night visit to our home on Scarborough. We will forever cherish the precious memories of Uncle Jimmy,...

To the entire Corthouts Family. Especially Beth ,Sandy remember the Fords of Plainfield St!! Michael and Chris exemplify the great character passed on from a truly Great Man!! we will always remember all his good deads. . with deepest regrets Dr. Steve Tishler ( Mansfield, West brook )

My deepest sympathy to the wonderful Corthouts family at the loss of their beloved Pop Pop. Now Butch can join his lovely Hokie in heaven and the Glennons, Jepsens, and Frierys can get back to playing bridge again.
