Not sure what to say?

Dear Barb,
On behalf of mom (Donna DeGroot Montague) and myself, we offer our deepest sympathies. We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Though we never got to know each other well, I do remember talking to toy at a family reunion several years ago. As a kid I traveled to Pontiac with my Grandpa DeGroot on the train to visit your parents- aunt Francis and Uncle Ed. My dad always spoke so highly of his sister Fracis and Ed.
May your memories sustain you as you go on,...

Dear Barb and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I believe the last time I saw Jim was at our Family Reunion several years ago. You and Jim and your two boys came; it was wonderful to see you. I believe it was also the year that Mom (Donna) and my sister (Patty) and brother (John) all attended, too. Please know you're in our thoughts and prayers.
With love,
Carol (DeGroot) Elder

He was a legend~May you be showered with the peace that he brought to all of those he touched...near & far~

My thoughts and prayers to all the family. Greg Henry

Mark, Ginny and Family,
I did not know you dad but you can tell a tree by the fruit that it bears so I know he must have been an awesome man. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Thank God for his promises and for the gift of eternal life. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

To Barb and family,

My thoughts are with you this week as you celebrate Jim's life. I remember the good times at your home in Clarkston and how warm and hospitable Jim was. Barb, you were his center and I always admired your marriage as Christ centered.
