Not sure what to say?

Jim was a man of integrity. He tirelessly spent many hours of volunteering at the zoo and those of the Thunderbird Club, a club that he started. I remember the first time I met Jim and Ellen June at a club function. Both very kind and welcoming. A very good man and was sadden with his death. He’ll always be remembered.

Dear Ellen....
Rebecca passed this on via email. I am so sorry to hear of Jim passing on. My deepest condolences are sent to you! I will always cherish Jim and you are wonderful people to know and serve you many years with your hair needs. I have always cherished the memory of Jim giving me a personal tour with Bercier of the Cleveland RainForest at the Cleveland Zoo. There was not much of any crowd the Monday we arrived, and Jim took lead and gave us such a lovely, detailed personal...

Mom #2, I am so sorry to hear of "Dad #2's" passing. I'm sorry I wasn't there I just heard about it. I love you and loved him much! He will be forever in my heart! I love you, Ruthie

Ellen June,

We are so sorry for your loss. Jim's spirit will be felt every time we post at the zoo. We are truly glad we had the opportunity to know him.

June, I worked at the zoo with you and Jim for a couple years quite a few years back...I'm so very sorry for your loss. Jim was a wonderful man and always knew how to bring a smile to your face. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Aunt Ellen - we are so very sorry to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. While we didn't get to spend much time with you when you were down here in Columbus, it was nice to share time with you at Rachel's graduation party and her prom when she and Aaron came over to Nana's to see you all. I know what an impact Jim had on Marikay's life and how important he was to her and both the girls. May God be with you during this time. Know we are sending our love and prayers to you.

Ellen,
Although we only saw you and Jim several times a year, Jim will be deeply missed. First met Jim when we worked at the gas station in 1951 and the friendship has continued over the years. Our condolences to you and your family.
Love, Judy and Rich Reese

Ellen,
I know it has been years, but you and Jim were always in my heart. I was very lucky and honored to have known you both. He was a wonderful man who many looked up to. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Ellen June,

I've known you and Jim from the Docent program for over 20 years. Jim was one of the kindest men that I have had the honor of knowing. God be with you in your time of sorrow.
