Dear Janet, Joni, Jamie, & Jana:

Patty and I send our deepest condolences to you. Jim was always ready with a wide smile and he never shied to laugh with gusto at so much of life. I have many happy memories of Jim, and all of you, as our wonderful neighbors for all those years.

We wish you peace and comfort in the knowledge he had such a wonderful presence and affect on the people he knew and the community of Baldwin. He and dad certainly enjoyed tinkering with machines and...

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at USGS in Lawrence for many years. He was always very patient and kind, willing to share his extensive knowledge of hydrology with newbies in the office. So enjoyed seeing his willing smile which he shared with everyone.
