We love and miss you so much!!

Only now found this article. Jimmy came over to my house in his copper-colored '57 Chevy beginning in January of 1964 to give me snare drum lessons, (at a dollar a lesson!), and started me on a lifelong pursuit. 25 years later, he sold my house for me. I knew him as a terrific gentleman, and an honorable person. Thanks, Jimmy - may you rest in peace.

James Cranfill - Miss you with all my heart!!

Thank you for all the wonderful memories and words from everyone who knew and loved my father. He was a wonderful man who taught me a lot about music, sailing and life in general. I always thought it was really cool that he was a drummer in the band. When the store had to close and he had to start at the bottom and became a rising star again he only became a hero in my eyes. I was very lucky to have such a wonderful loving dad. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten. Love you Dad!!

Jim had big heart and willing spirit. Many great hours playing music with him. He will always remain one of the special people we had the privilege to know. He always reflected Christ's love. Jim will remain in our thoughts and as an example to follow. Thank you Jim.

I love you and miss you Uncle Jimmy.

My sympathy to Jimmy's family. So sorry to hear the news about his passing. I was in OHS band with Jimmy. He was funny and made us laugh. He was a talented drummer. Enjoyed going to school with Jummy. Great person and Christian. God Bless

I only knew James for a short time, but I could tell he was a great man who loved his family and God with his whole heart. He left a great legacy in his family and they will carry it on and he also left many blessings for his friends. With deepest sympathy and Prayers for the family, The Reinhardts

I am sorry for James' passing. He was fun to be around. I will be praying for the family during the service.
