James Ray Crenshaw

My friend, my brother. Served together in the 504th USAF Band. Sonja and he lived down the road around 180 miles and we visited each other's homes 2-3 times a year. Many an hour doing nothing or having youtube contests or simply finding in everything and nothing. We are heartbroken. Sonja and he were here in late August. We cherish that visit. I have fond memories of Jimmy Ray when we both served in the 504th. His love off vintage recordings, keeping his BMW in pristine condition, and his insistence that the only ketchup worth having on the table was Heinz or what he referred to as "tomato wine." For the short period of time I had the honor of serving with him, I knew Jimmy Ray as a man who stood by his principles and never compromised his values.
