Not sure what to say?

I met Jim in 1972 at South High. We were in Horticulture together. He taught me sign language. I NEVER forgot him. I have ALWAYS thought of him and wondered where he was and what he was doing throughout the years. Now, I regret losing contact with him. I saw the notice for his mom, when she passed years ago and was glad to know that he was still 'local'. Again, I missed the opportunity to seek him. The week he passed, he was HEAVY on my mind. Isn't that strange? Maybe he thought of me, also...

James was a wonderful man. He inspired me, I hugged him everytime I would see him. He loved sports and when I heard of his passing I was bringing him a new Browns Jersey only to leave with it in hand. He will be missed by all who knew him. My friend will be in heaven with no boundries.

James was very special to me. Any day I saw him was a good day. He cared deeply about others and his spirit was infectious. He will be fondly remembered.

James was a true gentleman. He will be missed.

My mom was also a resident at Stratford. I always enjoyed seeing James. I will miss his smile and kindness. My prayers and thoughts go to all of you! Peggy Purpera Lapidus

I did no know Jim personally but my fiance knew him from Stratford he considered him a friend and was saddened to hear that he had passed.
I to am a South High graduate a few years younger than Jim so did not know him, but one of my sisters may have. My deepest sympathy to your family I am sure from what I have read he will be missed.

He was a great friend. We had the best of times going to the games of the Indians & Cavs that he gotteb free from working there. Always that great smile & a gentleman when we went out to dinner. His favorate was Apple Bees! I couldn't take that spice of that food, but went to plaase him. When he was no longer able to go places. I was really like a lost puppy. He's the most all men, I've ever hanged out with. Had the most beautiful eyes a woman can look into.
His smile will always be in my...

I will miss him keeping me in line. He would always alert me if residents who should not be leaving the building were getting close to trying to get out. I will never forget that wonderful "SMILE". You are all in my prayers.

I didn't know him, but as far as I can see all his friends say he was really wonderful person. I sure all his friends will miss him. James RIP and I wish I had a chance to know u.
