James Cromartie (Carl) was a longtime family friend. When my father was alive, he relied on Carl's help for many things. Carl remained close to our family after my father passed away, and would frequently stop by to say hello. As his health began to fail, Carl's visits became less frequent but he would make an occasional stop now and then. We will miss Carl's hearty laugh and everything else about him.
