James Cronin Obituary

James J. Cronin of Dennis, formerly of Scituate, passed away Jan. 29, 2013, at the age of 79. He was the devoted husband of Joanne (Gustafson) and the late Marguerite. Jim was born in Dorchester of St. Williams Parish, was a graduate of Boston College and was a member of the Navy Reserves. Jim was an insurance agent with Liberty Mutual and M.A. Street. He was an active parishioner of St. Marys Church in Scituate. He was the loving father of Michael Cronin of San Francisco, Jean Bertolini and her husband James of New Jersey, Trisha Czajak and her husband Robert of Cohasset; stepfather of Kim Ryan and her husband Rick of Scituate; and proud grandfather of Alexa, Dominique, Maggie, Grace, Shannon, Nate and Julianne. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary of the Nativity Church. For condolences and information, visit www.richardsongaffeyfuneralhome.com.
