Not sure what to say?

Ruth, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I didn't know him, but DO KNOW he must have been a VERY special man.
Please know I am thinking of you and your family.

Jim - my love - June 2006

Watching Jim suffer so much over the past several months has been heartbreaking. He was so lucky to have Ruth and Mary to care for him. I envied the way he would try to sit up straighter and get more power in his voice when the kids came to see him...he didn't want them to know how sick he was, and I don't think they did...
One day recently I asked Jim how he was doing. He said "I'm doing fine, it's your sister and your neice that need help". I am sure it was his funny way of saying they...

We will look back on all the GREAT TIMES we had with Jim and Ruthie (BC Games, Hampton, Kitty Whist) and smile. Jim had the best facial expressions, was smart, funny and a loyal friend. We will truly miss him.
Love ya Jim

Jim came into our families lives when I was very young. I loved spending time at Ruthie and Jim's, and always felt welcomed. I hardly remember what it was like before Jim, Deb, and Mike became a part of this family. I think Jim brought a different kind of humor than many of us were used to. Sometimes you'd question weather he was serious or kidding, but you'd always realize sooner or later he was kidding by the next joke. I will miss his strong presence, and the way he always lovingly teased...

Many of my earliest, and fondest memories are of the great times we have had spending the summers at the cottage. Those memories of spending the summer with Jim and the rest of the family will stay with me forever. Jim was a great guy, and I will miss him.

James cronin was a well respected guy with a great sense of humor. Thanks to Uncle Jimmy I have many wonderful childhood memories of being at the beach. You will truly be missed Uncle Jimmy aka "Uncle Shamus".

Dear Ruthie and Family.
Sorry to hear of the passing of Jimmy. He has been in my thoughts and prayers over the past several months. May he rest in peace.
Keep the Faith, and God Bless.
Sincerely,
Tom Gilmartin
