Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear about Jim's passing, he was always a gentleman on and off ice. I´ll always remember him.

That is very unfortunate. He was always a very upbeat person and fun to play ice hockey with. He will be missed!

The last time I saw Jim, Susan too, was at the gathering for Ron. I had the pleasure of sitting with them and discussing the "old days". I started watching Ron play at Valley ice arena in 1982 and I don´t remember if Jim was playing then but there were years of games and Thanksgiving smorgasbords and great conversations. He was a kind and thoughtful man, great hockey player and friend. My. Heart goes out to Susan and the Cross family. With deep sympathy, Linda Huntington

Jim was a regular at Tuesday hockey and breakfast at the Village Inn, where he enjoyed and added to the banter between Dave, Ben, Ken, and Bud. What a joy and a privilege to have known him!

Our condolences to his family and all those who were close to him. Jim was always respectful and a hoot at teasing in a fun way, whether on the ice or at the Villiage Inn breakfasts thereafter. We all wish that there is a rink in an afterlife where Jim can catch Driscoll, Duffy, Bud, Ron and Ben et. al.

We sure miss Jim's sense of humor in the locker room. RIP friend. (L-R Josh Dye, Josh Schwartz, Jim, Cal Lennox, Tom Malone)

Dr Jim Cross was a great man who I enjoyed playing hockey with. He came every week and told great stories and encoreged the younger guys to keep going to amateur tournaments whenever we could, and he always wanted to know how we did the following week. He was highly intelligent and encouraged others to be the same personality and professionally. It is an honor to be associated with him, we will all miss him- he was Tuesday morning hockey at its best!

Dr. Cross as I called him, was one of my favorite people in the hockey group. Many people came and went through the years, but Doctor Cross stood out as someone who was a personality that made the group better. My condolences to the family.
