He was a great husband, a great father, and a great friend to a lot of people. He will be greatly missed. He always had a great sense of humor. He always looked for the good in people.

Our troubled world needs more people like Jim! You are correct when you state in his obituary "his civic engagement was a testament to his desire to contribute positively to the world around him." I fondly remember his involvement with the Memorial Park Commission, making it possible for hundreds of youth from the Greater Jim Thorpe Area to enjoy dances, roller skating, and other activities at the Park. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
