One of the best infielders to come ever come out of East St. Louis. I played ball with Jimmy for quite a few years and spent a lot of time just being buddies.

Known as Mexicali but Assumption Baseball coach the lte George martz, and La Cucaracha on the basketball courts,Jimmy was Assumption Pioneer Athlete of the Year in 1964. Jimmy and I spent many hours talking about the old days, Baseball, and football. I remember many years ago sitting at the bar at English's when he made a rather disparaging remark to me.
